Following the publication of the Justice Select Committee Report into IPP Sentences, the spotlight is on IPP sentences once more, and it is hoped that the recommendations in the report are taken forward by the government.
In the meantime, recalls of people on IPP licence remain all too common.
This week, Catherine Bond has secured the re-release for two of her IPP clients who had been recalled for alleged and proven further offending.
Catherine said:
"I am very happy that my clients have regained their freedom and hope that the next Parole Board decision in their cases will be the termination of their IPP licences."
