Court of Appeal:  Richard Lee Mulcahy v R - [2000] EWCA Crim 106

This was a miscarriage of justice case involving an application to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) following a conviction for armed robbery.

The CCRC referred the case to the Court of Appeal and the Court of Appeal quashed the conviction.

Compensation was also secured for the appellant’s wrongful conviction.
