This paper is not a formal submission of evidence to the Justice Select Committee. The Committee has not called for evidence for the Work of the Parole Board session. Introduction This paper has been prepared in advance of the Justice Select Committee’s evidence session, The Work of the Parole Board, scheduled for 18 October 2017. The Committee has not called for evidence from parties other than the Parole Board and the Ministry of Justice.
